Christie and I currently live in Downtown
Baltimore. The area is known as Ridgely's Delight, or as I
like to refer to it "Poor Man's Otterbein". It is a small
neighborhood bordered by the University of Maryland, Martin Luther
King Blvd, and Camden Yards. I rented in the area for a year
and I liked it so much I decided to buy a house. It isn't much
to look at from the outside but we are working on that. Most of the
renovations have focused on the inside and the backyard. In a
year and a half we have managed to knock down a wall, rip up two
floors, rip out a bathroom, cut down a tree and cut more then a fare
share of holes in the rest of the walls. Thank God for Bob
Villa, and Damn that trading spaces show !!!

Although
we don't plan on staying here long the location is perfect for
us. She works at Shock Trauma which is 4 streets over and as
everyone is coming into the city I am going out. Camden Yards
is literally at the end of the street, and our summer nights are
filled with the roar of the crowd as the Orioles finally win one
!!. Inner Harbor and Federal Hill are a stones throw away
which also keeps us busy...or at the very least drunk!

We
are down to one roommate so if you can handle the wolves, as Beth
likes to call them. The Guest bedroom is usually vacant, and
Christie and I are wonderful tour guides...This is Pickles, this is
Bollean's, this is Havana's etc etc etc.
